MozambiqueMozambique plays a key role in the global energy landscape, with its vast reserves of coking coal attracting significant mining investment. The Chirodzi open-cast mine strengthens our African footprint while supporting scalable mining operations and long-term resource development in line with Mozambique’s National Development Strategy 2025 - 2044.With an installed capacity of 5 MTPA, Chirodzi produces high-quality semi-soft coking coal with high calorific value and low impurities, supported by strong infrastructure connectivity across the region, positioning it as one of the region’s promising mining hubs.
BotswanaBotswana is central to our growth in southern Africa, aligned with the nation’s Vision 2036 for economic diversification and sustainable industrial development. Our presence in the Mmamabula coalfields strengthens an integrated mining and energy corridor, supporting power generation, industrial growth, and regional industrial development.With a current mining capacity of 4.5 MTPA Mmamabula is positioned as one of Botswana’s most strategic energy reserves, catering to domestic demand and regional markets.
