Our strategy for sustainable growth
R.I.S.E reflects Jindal Steel’s commitment to embedding its core values of ownership, continuous improvement and respect for people into every decision and action. It ensures that growth, expansion and innovation move forward alongside responsible governance, inclusive progress and environmental stewardship.
Built on a strong foundation of sustainability, it brings together our ESG efforts into a clear, materiality-driven approach aligned with stakeholder expectations, shaping a resilient and future-ready organisation.
Together, these pillars translate our values - extreme ownership, better than before, respect for people and sustainability - into everyday decisions & measurable outcomes.
Double materiality
For the first time this year, we applied double materiality, capturing two perspectives:
- Outside-in: How ESG issues influence our performance, resilience and value creation
- Inside-out: How our operations impact people, society and the environment

Stakeholder engagement keeps our strategy grounded & our progress measurable. We listen first, then act, ensuring decisions reflect real needs, risks and opportunities across our ecosystem. Each year, we conduct a structured materiality assessment to identify and priorities key stakeholder groups. Our approach is guided by GRI, SASB and World Steel Association standards, and calibrated against peer practices making our insights rigorous, comparable, and decision-ready.
