Advancing Hot Strip Manufacturing

Jindal Steel manufactures Hot Rolled Coils & Sheets at its state-of-the-art 6 MTPA Hot Strip Mill (HSM) in Angul, Odisha. Commissioned in 2024, the facility is equipped to produce ultra-thin hot rolled coils up to 1.2 mm thickness across a wide range of steel grades and industrial applications.

Jindal Steel’s 6 MTPA Hot Strip Mill integrates advanced rolling, cooling, and automated coil handling systems to ensure dimensional consistency, superior flatness, and uniform mechanical properties across Hot Rolled Coils & Sheets. The 1,680 mm-wide mill is designed for efficient production of value-added flat steel products across diverse grades and dimensions.

Further processing options include pickled & oiled steel and coated steel, which serve different surface finishing and protection requirements.
