Morgan Wire Rod Mill

Jindal Steel manufactures wire rods at its Morgan Wire Rod Mill in Patratu, Jharkhand, with a production capacity of 0.6 MTPA. Designed with globally benchmarked technology, the mill supports high-speed rolling operations and ensures consistent dimensional accuracy and surface quality.

The mill is equipped with advanced rolling stands, no-twist mill configuration, reducing and sizing systems, and controlled reheating and cooling technologies, including Stelmor cooling. These systems enable uniform microstructure, reduced surface defects, and consistent mechanical properties across coils.
